Built for curious kids and busy parents, our fast-paced 15-minute Bell Chiming tour is all about hands-on fun. Kids get to chime a real bell! No sitting still, no long history talks. They’ll explore colourful exhibits, discover the magic of bell ringing, and climb the tower for incredible panoramic views of Perth and the Swan River.

Important information: 

• For smooth entry, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked kids’ chiming experience time for check-in and to make your way to the chiming room. 

• If you are more than 5 minutes late, entry to the session may not be possible, as it can disrupt the safety demonstration has been given. 

Highlights: 

• Self-guided tour of the Bell Tower during our Kids Day! 

• *Kids* Chiming Experience - With young and aspiring Bell Chimers in mind, this tour is only 15 minutes long and focuses on active engagement. Kids will get a chance to chime a bell without having to sit still during the regular history lesson. 

• FREE arts and crafts, treasure hunt, balloon twisting and face painting available all day! 

• Marvel at the stunning views of the Swan River and Perth City from the observation deck. 

• See the impressive 6,500kg ANZAC Bell (watch it ring at midday for 1 minute). 

Before your visit: 

• Remember to bring a gold coin to play a song on the coin operated Carillon. 

• We recommend allowing 1 hour to explore The Bell Tower. With this ticket, you are free to come back to The Bell Tower during our open hours to discover the Tower's fascinating exhibits, including the St Martin-in-the-Fields bells from London dating back to 1725, the oldest bell in Australia, and the Mark Creasy Turret Clock.
